Happy 2017 (in a few hours)! I'm looking forward to a fresh start with a fresh year. Now that I'm officially homeless (I'm living with my mom for 2 weeks before driving up to New York), it's just a long wait till I start things anew. I have so many things planned for this year, and I'm really itching to get started.
Merry Christmas and Happy Hannukah! I'm in the middle of having 0 holiday spirit this year, but I still tried to do something festive to celebrate the holiday. Here's hoping next year will be better...
If you asked me what the number one thing I will miss about Jacksonville is, it's the running community. I've met some amazing people participating in groups runs and races with 1st Place Sports and Jacksonville Running Company. I've also gotten the chance to test out some pretty sweet gear, like the 2XU compression sleeves.
It's not the new year yet (and it was 79 degrees today, so it doesn't even feel like December), but I'm already trying to get a head start on my resolutions. One thing I want to do is to be more spontaneous - I don't want to spend my life just sitting around waiting to plan stuff and saying "someday."
If you know me at all, you know that music is my favorite thing in the world. I have headphones on almost 24/7, and I'll never pass up a concert. Unfortunately, I've been slacking in the live music area, and haven't been to a show since Springsteen in February. So, it was by pure luck that I won a contest at work and got hooked up with tickets to see an act I knew very little about - Trans-Siberian Orchestra!
Before I write about my (extremely) short trip to NYC, I'd like to take this time to announce the big news of my year.
I'm Jenn! Welcome to my adventures through life! Feel free to check out my About section or follow me on social media!
